MOSAIC coordinators also works close with other organizations and businesses to find those isolated individuals. If you know someone who fits into one of our programs (seniors, foster children, and disabled individuals), please contact us to complete a referral form. We will ask you a few questions regarding the individual being referred to learn more about them and then set up a time to celebrate!

Mission:
MOSAIC seeks to enhance the lives of isolated individuals by connecting them with volunteers who establish meaningful relationships and celebrate important occasions with them.

Vision:
MOSAIC will give individuals personal attention on a special occasion to recognize them as unique contributors of their community. MOSAIC focuses on foster children, disabled individuals and the aging population who have little or no family to celebrate with them. This personalized time will provide individuals with the opportunity to celebrate on birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and other meaningful occasions. Gifts can come in the form of a community outing, personalized party, surprise visits from family and/or friends, and/or presents that are appropriate for the recipient. Our vision is to enhance the lives of isolated individuals by providing 1-on-1 time with a MOSAIC staff member or volunteer and personalized gifts on important/ memorable occasions. MOSAIC believes that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in the world.

Founder's Story:
As college students and friends, Jackie and Kristin have had a life full of helping others. Family has been the number one priority in both of their lives. After countless volunteer positions, working in the healthcare and education fields, Jackie and Kristin knew that they had the commitment and charisma to start a nonprofit organization that serves the community. In the search to find a need in the community, both realized that many people, especially seniors, in the community are alone during special celebrations in their lives. With the need for companionship in nursing homes, they decided to bring joy to foster children and people with disabilities as well. While Jackie and Kristin continue to bring personal attention to those in need, they hope your support will help those that are isolated find happiness in their life.
